More than 7,000 flights have been cancelled in parts of the US Northeast from 26 – 28 January 2015 as a precaution to a forecasted major snowstorm. While many airlines and airports expect to resume (in some cases, limited) operations on Wednesday 28 January, travellers should continue to expect delays and disruptions. Travellers are advised to call their airline and check their flight status before heading to the airport.
New York and New Jersey have lifted snowstorm related travel bans, allowing motorists back on the road and public transportation slowly resuming service. Drivers are still urged to take extreme caution on the roads.
CT Connections has made contact with all affected travellers, and will continue to update them as more news arrive. For urgent assistance, please contact your CT Connections consultant.
