Following a magnitude 6.3 earthquake in New Zealand’s South Island, possible disruption to travel and communication may be experienced by travellers in both the North and South Islands in the coming hours.
The quake was reportedly felt in both Wellington and Christchurch, as well as surrounding areas.
No reports of immediate casualties.
