TRAVEL ADVISORY: Tianjin implements 72-hour visa-free transit policy

Beginning 8 June, Tianjin Binhai International Airport customs will allow eligible foreign nationals to stay visa-free for 72 hours.

Passport holders from 51 countries and regions, including Australia and New Zealand, are now able to visit Tianjin without a transit visa for 72 hours when they are en route to a third country or region via the Tianjin International Airport.

Tianjin is the latest Chinese city to implement the visa-free policy, joining Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi’an, Kunming, Chengdu, Chonqing, Shenyang, Daliam, Guilin, Hangzhou, Xiamen and Wuhan.
