TRAVEL ADVISORY: Registered Traveller now available for Australian frequent travellers to the UK

By 14 May 2015March 3rd, 2022News, Travel Advisory

With the expansion of the United Kingdom’s Registered Traveller program, Australian travellers who frequently visit the UK can now skip passport control queues at some of the country’s airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and Stansted, with other airports to follow throughout the year.

Registered Travellers will be able to use ePassport gates or the UK/EU channels instead of the longer immigration lines and will no longer be required to fill out landing cards at participating airports.

The scheme is open to all nationals from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the USA and Canada, provided they have travelled to the UK four or more times in the last 52 weeks.

Visit www.gov.uk/registered-traveller to apply as a Registered Traveller. Applications cost £70 (valid for a year upon approval), please allow up to ten days for a decision on your application.
