TRAVEL ADVISORY: Qantas Airways Increasing International Fares

Qantas Airways has advised that it will be increasing international airfares sold in Australia by between 1-4%, effective 29 October 2015.

Routes impacted include those under the joint Qantas and Emirates partnership, along with Qantas routes to South Africa, Hawaii, South America, Hong Kong, China, Philippines, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea and New Caledonia.

Qantas Airways have advised Return Economy class fares will increase between $10-$40, while return Business class fares will jump between $20-$200, depending on route, the Qantas spokesperson said.

“Any existing bookings¬†in all cabins, must be ticketed on/before 28 October, or within the Ticketing Time Limit, whichever is earlier, otherwise the increased fare levels will apply”
