PRODUCT REVIEW: Tryp Hotel, Fortitude Valley (Brisbane)

By 29 May 2015March 3rd, 2022News, Product Review

In a quiet side street between Ann Street and Wickham Terrace Fortitude Valley, the new four and a half star TRYP Fortitude Valley Hotel allows you to escape the hustle and bustle whilst all the conveniences are just around the corner.  Tryp Hotel is surrounded by very cool, hipster styled cafes, bars and restaurants including Chur Burger located on the Ground floor of the hotel.  Chur offers indoor and outdoor/alfresco dining featuring an extensive and affordable burger and snack menu as well as a modern breakfast menu.

On the hotel rooftop you will find a very trendy bar ‘UP on Constance’.  Featuring a Veuve Clicquot showcase, the rooftop bar commands views of the valley rooftops and is a perfect place to sit back, unwind and relax to the chilled background music.

You could easily mistake this hotel for being located in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy with it’s hipster vibe.  Featuring graffiti art sourced by local street artists, each floor takes on it’s own look and feel according to the commissioned artist.

All guests are personally escorted to their rooms by the very friendly, attentive staff.  Behind the ‘Veuve Clicquot Orange’ coloured doors, your sanctum awaits. With five room types to choose from, you may opt for a Spa room which compliment the luxurious Zambeli bathroom products used throughout the hotel.  That’s if you make it past the glass doors of the mini bar fridge where a giant Caramello Koala and a full size bottle of Veuve Clicquot beckon you to be consumed at very reasonable prices!

The beds offer a very comfortable night’s sleep with funky blue mood ‘night lights’ accentuating the art work and providing an ambiance.  The rooms offer all modern conveniences with electric blinds, I-Pod docking station with bluetooth, coffee pod machine, Foxtel channels and FREE WiFi.

Tryp Hotel Fortitude Valley is conveniently located for access to Brisbane International Airport (15 minute drive) and a short five minute walk to Fortitude Valley train station.
