PRODUCT ADVISORY: Upgrade to Premium Economy with Qantas ‘Bid Now’

Qantas’ ‘Bid Now’ scheme has been extended to include¬†bidding for upgrades to Premium Economy on ¬†international flights.

Those eligible for the scheme will be invited to submit bids for upgrades to Premium Economy and Business Class via an email from Qantas approximately seven days before departure.

Qantas passengers may use a combination of cash and frequent flyer points to bid for upgrades. Premium Economy bids start from 5,000 frequent flyer points, plus a cash component.

Premium Economy bids will only be accepted in conjunction with a Business Class upgrade bid on the same flight.¬†Upgrades via the ‘Bid Now’ system will be allocated between 12 to 24 hours before departure.

Premium Economy seating are available on flights to London, Los Angeles, New York, Dallas/Fort Worth, Vancouver, Dubai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Santiago and Johannesburg. From December 2015, Premium Economy will also be available on flights to San Francisco.
